Wednesday, 19 May 2010 |
|
Palm Springs, CA- The Rotax Pan American Challenge is pleased to announce that it raised $510 in association with Kids Racing for Kids (KRFK) for the local CASA www.casaforchildren.org. KRFK is a foundation started by Tim Self after he and his son started in Karting and the mission of the organization is to help children’s charitable organizations across the nation while instilling positive values into young racers. “I do not believe there is a more important thing we can do with our young racers that teach them to be responsible citizens and give back to the community” states Marshall Martin, Rotax Program Director.
It is not too late to donate to Kids Racing for Kids. You may elect to give $5 or $10 during the on line registration process at the next event in New Castle, Indiana or you may click on this link to give your tax deductible donation to KRFK at any point:
http://www.austincommunityfoundation.org/?nd=donate_detail&donation_id=972&return_nd=donate
We encourage you to get involved at the next event at New Castle as our goal is to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the local CASA organization and present a check on behalf of Kids Racing for Kids during the awards ceremony on Saturday night. If you want to donate at the track or become a member, you may see Tim Glasson under the DFR/ Supertune Racing tent during the event.
